Your Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Analyst II to join our team. As a key member of the Accounts Payable team, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable transactions, resolving invoice discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional to gain experience and develop skills in accounts payable.

• Process high-volume invoices and credits in both hard copy and EDI format for multiple companies.
• Analyze invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with purchase orders and receipts.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies with field personnel, purchasing departments, and vendors.
• Process credits/debits from vendors and other departments with correct GL coding.
• Regularly review and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate with manufacturers and internal customers regarding vendor accounts.
• Ensure appropriate approvals and GL coding for invoices, credit memos, check requests, etc.
• Identify and escalate any irregularities or issues to the Management Team.
• Assist with weekly check runs and month-end closing activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve the overall payables process.
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years’ related experience in Accounts Payable
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and prior experience using EDI is beneficial.
