As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, supporting financial reporting, and maintaining the integrity of accounting processes. You will work closely with the Finance team to manage transactions, monitor accounts, and provide valuable insights that support business decisions.

What you will do

• Ensure that 1Aviation’s Vision, Mission, and Values are achieved
• Record and monitor financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and maintain schedules of assigned General Ledger (GL) accounts
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Analyze financial variances and provide insights to support decision-making
• Assist in budgeting, audit preparation, and tax-related activities
• Monitor cash flow and support fund management to ensure operational requirements are met
• Verify accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for financial reporting requirements
• Prepare, monitor & submit BIR tax compliances
• Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.
  
  

An ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications Required Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
  
  

Preferred Experience And Skills

• 2–3 years of experience in General Ledger (GL), financial reporting, and analysis
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
• High attention to detail with strong accuracy and efficiency
• Proficiency in MS Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint
• Experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, and audit support
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve discrepancies
