Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design and sketch characters, settings, and environments
- Create thumbnails and storyboards to plan page layouts and panel flow
- Draw and ink comic pages based on scripts and storyboards
- Collaborate with writers to ensure the artwork aligns with the narrative
- Apply colors to finished pages using digital tools or traditional media
- Adjust and refine artwork based on editor and writer feedback
- Manage time efficiently to hit strict publishing deadlines
- Keep up with current trends, digital software, and techniques in comic illustration
Requirements
- An online portfolio is required to showcase the work before being considered for an interview. Include character designs, background designs, Graphic Designs. Sample Comic Book panels/pages is a huge plus. Please indicate the link on your resume.
- At least a High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, Bachelors/ College Degree, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia
- Background and experience in visual editing tools such as Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint
- Keen in detail
- Communicate and work effectively in English
- Willing to work onsite in Makati City
- Willing to work Monday to Saturday
