Toyota Motor Philippines is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Plant and Facility Department located in Santa Rosa City, Laguna, Philippines.
As a member of the Utility Management Team, the Laboratory Technician is responsible for overseeing all chemical laboratory functions and maintenance. This includes managing laboratory results and calibration, ensuring compliance with internal audit standards, gathering and analyzing data related to laboratory results and operational output, and handling environmental data.
In this role, you are expected to be a domain expert, ensuring the safety and efficiency of the Waste Water Treatment Plant. You will conduct quality control checks and perform assurance procedures to maintain the accuracy and reliability of test results. Additionally, you will ensure that the operation of the Wastewater Plant complies with all government rules and regulations.
Your role and responsibilities:
Oversee laboratory results and equipment calibration, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Maintain compliance with Internal Audit Standards and Protocols.
Gather and analyze laboratory and operational data to support continuous improvement.
Manage and report Environmental data as required.
Conduct Quality Control and Assurance procedures for test results.
Ensure the Wastewater Plant operates in compliance with government regulations.

You are a graduate of Chemical Engineering Technology or any related technical course in Chemical with PRC License as Chemist or Chemical Technician.
You have achieved a satisfactory level of technical and professional skill or knowledge in position-related areas and are keeping up with current developments and trends in areas of expertise.
You maintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjust to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures.

Required Skills And Qualifications
Applicants should possess a solid background in laboratory work and chemical-related functions. Familiarity with core laboratory procedures and chemical processes is essential for effective performance in this role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a particular emphasis on Excel functions, is necessary. Candidates must be able to organize, analyze, and report data using spreadsheet tools to support laboratory and operational activities.
Strong communication and coordination skills are required. The ability to clearly convey information and collaborate effectively with team members and other departments is critical for this position.
A minimum of one year of experience in a related field is expected. Prior experience ensures applicants are familiar with relevant procedures and can adapt quickly to the demands of the job.
Candidates must be willing to work in a two-shift operation, demonstrating adaptability and commitment to meeting the needs of laboratory and plant operations.
