Area Operations Officer

Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for Area Operations Officer to join our Customer Service Planning & Connected Department based in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, Philippines.

As an Area Operations Officer, you will act as the bridge between corporate and our 2nd-channel workshop. Youll monitor performance, support operations, and help design and implement strategies and campaigns to meet business targets while ensuring adherence to our quality and brand standards

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Monitor performance of assigned 2nd-channel workshops; deliver functional support to ensure business and sales targets are met, while maintaining quality standards and brand compliance.
• Analyze business performance metrics and collaborate with 2nd-channel workshop / dealer teams to develop continuous-improvement (kaizen) programs and marketing campaigns to attract new customers and enhance brand awareness.
• Manage and coordinate task-force activities to ensure effective planning and successful launch of campaigns or initiatives.
• Conduct regular field visits to 2nd-channel workshops / dealers, perform market studies to assess campaign effectiveness; collect data and provide timely feedback and recommendations to Management.
• Monitor and analyze competitor activities including service packages, promos and activations to identify opportunities and risks; use findings to inform strategic decisions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional to align promotional and operational initiatives with overall business objectives.
• Develop and implement operational and marketing improvement plans for 2nd-channel workshops, focusing on operational efficiency, quality assurance, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare periodic performance reports and operational analytics (KPIs, sales, campaign results, competitor benchmarking) for management review.
• Provide coaching and guidance to 2nd-channel workshop staff or task-force members to promote high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and any applicable industry regulations or quality/safety guidelines.
  
  
  

• You have a bachelors degree in Business Management, Business Administration (major in Operations Management), and Industrial Engineering.
• You are willing to travel on official business trips whenever needed.
• You can establish courses of action for yourself and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently.
• Genuine interest in cars or in the automotive industry an added advantage for the nature of our operations.
• A valid Philippines drivers license and ability to drive to facilitate field visits to 2nd-channel workshops is nice to have.
• You can identify opportunities and take action to build strategic relationships between your area and other areas/teams/departments/units to help achieve business goals.
• You are capable of clearly conveying information and ideas in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
• You can present ideas effectively delivering presentations suited to the characteristics and needs of the audience.
• You can accomplish tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how small; showing concern for all aspects of the job; accurately checking processes and tasks; being watchful over time.
• You are proactive, results-driven, organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks while maintaining high quality standards.
