Purpose of the Role

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by performing activities related to receiving, put-away, inventory management, order fulfillment, checking, and dispatching. The role ensures products are handled accurately, safely, and efficiently to support timely, complete, and correct delivery of customer orders while maintaining inventory accuracy and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Support customer order fulfillment activities to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.
  • Perform receiving activities, including unloading, checking, and put-away of incoming stocks.
  • Ensure timely and accurate storage of products to make inventory readily available for customer orders.
  • Operate warehouse equipment and assist in the movement and handling of stocks within the warehouse.
  • Conduct inventory-related activities, including stock counting, reconciliation, and inventory maintenance.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of picked orders prior to dispatch.
  • Support dispatching activities to ensure timely release and delivery of customer orders.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records related to warehouse transactions and inventory movements.
  • Adhere to warehouse safety, quality, and compliance standards at all times.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

What Will Make You Successful

Must-Have

  • At least Vocational Graduate or College Level.
  • Minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year of warehouse operations experience.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with standard office applications.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.

Advantage to Have

  • Experience in warehousing, logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and dispatch processes.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Familiarity with inventory control and stock management procedures.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems or SAP.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, logistics, or FMCG industry.
