The Training Assistant supports the creation of e-learning courses that contribute to global and local learning initiatives across DSV. This role involves assisting with basic course preparation, organizing training materials, and helping ensure that digital learning content is delivered effectively to employees across various business areas.
The ideal candidate is interested in developing engaging learning experiences, has a basic understanding of adult learning principles, and is eager to grow their skills in a dynamic, international environment.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement interactive e-learning courses and digital training materials on a wide range of topics related to working at DSV.
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and business stakeholders to identify learning needs and translate complex content into engaging, learner-friendly experiences.
Apply instructional design methodologies and best practices in adult learning to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
Develop digital learning content using various authoring tools and multimedia applications.
Ensure all content aligns with DSV’s global learning standards, brand guidelines, and accessibility requirements.
Support the localization and translation of training materials for global and local use.
Stay informed about new technologies and trends in digital learning, and bring innovative ideas and solutions to the team.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor degree in a relevant field (preferably Education, Instructional Design, Communication or Business, Media, Digital Arts or a related discipline).
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Foundational understanding of e-learning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Rise) or a willingness to learn them quickly.
Basic experience or familiarity with video editing, graphic design, or multimedia tools (e.g., Camtasia, Vyond, Adobe Creative Suite).
General knowledge of instructional design principles and learning best practices.
Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning industry trends.
Strong written and visual communication skills, with the ability to organize and simplify information clearly.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Good customer orientation, positive attitude, flexibility and detail-oriented approach in supporting training activities.
Up to 1 year of experience in a training, learning support, or administrative role (internships or part-time roles also applicable).
Exposure to working in an international or multicultural environment, either through previous roles, academic projects, or collaborative work.
