Reconciliation Process Support Specialist
The primary focus of this role is to provide support to his/her colleagues on the use and development of the evoke reconciliation platform and ensure that the technical challenges are addressed the soonest possible time. This role will also drive process automation and improvements that will enable the Finance Shared Service Delivery teams perform streamlined based activities and reporting to the stakeholders.
What you will be doing:
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Platform Administration and Configuration
- Set up, maintain, and manage the reconciliation platform, including user accounts, roles, permissions, and security settings.
- Configure reconciliation rules, matching criteria, exception workflows, and approval processes according to business requirements.
- Schedule data imports and reconciliation runs, and monitor system performance.
- Reconciliation Process Support
- Investigate and resolve "breaks" or discrepancies identified by rules engine.
- Act as a point of escalation for user support related to platform issues.
- Provide training and guidance to reconciliation analysts and other finance users.
- Technical and Integration Support
- Coordinate data feeds from source systems (e.g., Openbet, NTS, bank statements and etc) into Accurate.
- Assist with technical integration issues and support IT teams in troubleshooting connectivity and data import errors.
- Maintain scripting, rules logic, and mappings for reconciliation jobs
- Process improvements and documentation
- Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks, optimize matching logic, and improve reconciliation accuracy.
- Participate in projects to enhance reconciliation coverage, reduce exceptions, and shorten close cycles.
- Recommend best practices and standardization across reconciliation types and business units.
- Help streamline documentation of reconciliation policies and standard operating procedures.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in Reconciliation role utilizing a reconciliation platform (Accurate)
- 5+ years experience in the field of Accounting or Finance
- Experience in using financial management systems (e.g Oracle, SAP, JDE) is an advantage
- Strong understanding of banking and cash management processes
