About The Role
As an Operations Center Analyst, you will help the Operations Center team which provides 24x7x365 Production support for mission critical environments accessed worldwide. This position is part of the Citco Information Technology team (Tech Ops/Operations Center IT) and reports to the Operations Center Manager.
Job Duties In Brief
Addressing day-to-day server issues in a fast paced Production environment, which requires quick turnaround.
1st level support with a focus on Windows, but also responsible for 1st level support of Unix, Backup and AWS Cloud environments.
Perform Operational activities as per the predetermined work schedules, including multiplatform database backups / restores, remote tape operations, back-up monitoring and administration using Netbackup, Backup Exec and eVault technologies.
Agent deployments on all platforms to ensure systems are under monitoring and in asset inventory.
Involved in regular scheduled patching process for all platforms.
Involved in DR tests (Data Centers and Offices).
Responsible for batch process (monitor and implementing scripts).
Log calls with Maintenance companies on behalf of resolving groups as necessary and report accordingly
Promptly respond to telephone calls, voice mails and emails.
Meet SLA deadlines & deliverables.
Accept responsibility and personal accountability.
About You
The successful candidate is an experienced and energetic contributor, with the ability to provide support by performing first level investigation and determining the correct control action. You can impact day-to-day service delivery to business users through infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting while maintaining cross functional collaboration to resolve Critical issues in the production environment.
Experience And Technical Skills
Associates in Computer science
1-3 years of relevant IT experience
Knowledge and experience of Windows 2008/12/16
Citrix Administration
Knowledge of hardware and software configuration
Firm understanding of MS Office suite
Knowledge of backup responsibilities (restores, create jobs, troubleshooting)
Knowledge of the backup technologies used within Citco is a plus (Netbackup, Backup Exec, Evault)
Knowledge of RHEL OS (or any Unix OS) is a plus
Batch scheduling is a plus (CA Autosys)
Knowledge or familiarity with following tools is a plus (CA Spectrum, CA Autosys, Nagios, MS SCOM, MS SCCM)
Knowledge of AWS is considered a plus.
Demonstrate a self-directed approach to learning; pursue professional development.
Take personal ownership (going beyond assigned tasks to deliver quality projects, identify and reports issues, demonstrate strong concern for client business and initiatives).
Willingness to assist fellow team members.
Demonstrate use of professional judgment on the job.

Flexibility and ability to deal with change in a 12x4, 12x3 work schedule.
