Job Summary

This position delivers and picks up packages to and from residential and/or commercial properties. This position performs in a physical, fast-paced environment involving driving, continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages. This position practices safe transportation methods while traveling to and from destinations. This position ensures the best customer service through efficiency and dedication.

Responsibilities

Learns and properly executes UPS safe driving methods.

Qualifications

UPS Service Provider Qualifications

Preferred Prior Courier Experience

Has valid professional driver’s license

With excellent driving skills

With good navigation skills

Excellent customer contact and driving skills

Has a strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items regularly

Ability to handle packages weighing up to 70 lbs, with occasional lifting of up to 105 lbs

With pleasing personality, excellent customer service and highly effective communication skills

Capable of using a computer for tasks such as email, completing online trainings, accessing meetings and others

Comfort working with tech platforms (Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel)

With basic knowledge on vehicle troubleshooting (recognizing potential problems and minor issues - battery issue, flat tire, warning lights and others)

Compliance with UPS appearance guidelines

Availability to work six days per week

Willing and able to work during holidays as needed
