Position Title: Quality Assurance Analyst

Work Set Up: On-site

Schedule: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM PH Time

Job Location: Clark Outsourcing - Building 35 Philexcel Business Park, Clark Pampanga

Quick Rundown:

The Quality Assurance Analyst is the last line of defense before software reaches our affiliates and staff. This role owns the quality of every release: from defining what done looks like, to confirming it is true before anything ships. The QA Analyst is expected to be proactive, organized, and direct. Quality problems that reach production are failures of this role, not just of development.

This is a focused, high-accountability position. Success is measured by outcomes, not activity

What You’ll Do:

• Create and maintain detailed test cases for all stories and bugs before development begins, ensuring alignment with acceptance criteria.
• Execute structured testing for all release candidates and document results clearly.
• Identify edge cases, defects, and regression risks, and maintain a regression test library to validate system stability before each release.
• Begin QA testing within 24 hours once tickets move to Ready for QA, documenting and escalating issues promptly.
• Coordinate with developers and product managers to ensure tickets have clear, testable acceptance criteria before development starts.
• Monitor sprint progress, flag capacity risks, and ensure incomplete tickets are properly documented at sprint close.
• Document defects thoroughly and ensure fixes are re-tested before release approval.
• Enforce QA release standards and communicate readiness or blockers to stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate ticket status and documentation in Jira, supporting sprint closure and release administration.
• Coordinate support ticket assignments and assist with issue resolution when QA involvement is required.
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Demonstrated experience in software QA testing, including writing and executing structured test cases
• Ability to read and evaluate ticket acceptance criteria and identify gaps before testing begins
• Strong written and verbal communication. Defect reports must be clear enough for a developer to act on immediately
• Comfortable working in Jira or equivalent project management tools
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple active tickets, and meet sprint deadlines without being managed
• Direct communicator. Willing to push back on releases that are not ready regardless of pressure to ship
• Experience with SaaS or order management systems
• Experience writing automated test scripts or working alongside automated testing tools
• Prior experience enforcing a formal release gate process
