Job Summary

The Industrial Engineering Analyst is responsible for providing supports to the numerous groups within the IE function. She/he assists supervisors in projecting accurate brokerage file forecasts, gathering data, conducting data analysis to enhance operational efficiency and performance improvement. The role also contributes to reporting, annual planning, time study and project initiatives across the network.

Key Responsibilities

• Volume projection - forecast volume, staffing, and productivity for each port; ensure accuracy and variances addressed.
• Operation alignment call - Assist supervisor conduct forecast alignment call with countries operations.
• Review country productivity, identify gaps, and collaborate with teams to implement action plans.
• Conduct data analysis to uncover trends, issues, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Generate queries to obtain data per internal customer requests and ensure the reports sent timely and accurately.
• Support annual business planning, including volume inputs, capacity assumptions, and resource modeling.
• Provide project support and special studies, such as feasibility assessments, cost-benefit analysis, and process improvement activities.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
  

• Background in logistics, supply chain, or operational analytics.
• Familiarity with forecasting models, KPI monitoring, and continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma).
