Director of Security - Amanpulo

Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Director of Security overseeing all aspects of security operations, ensuring the safety and security of all guests, colleagues, and property. This includes managing security personnel, coordinating with local authorities, and implementing safety protocols. The manager is also responsible for managing budgets, conducting security audits, and responding to emergency situations as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design and construction of information security solutions to facilitate the implementation of appropriate security measures.
• Conducts the development, testing and implementation of security plans and control techniques.
• Provides guests, management and colleagues with a high level of technical expertise and support in risk assessment and implementation of appropriate data security procedures.
• Maintains an awareness of existing and proposed security standard setting groups and regulations pertaining to information security. Communicates relevant information to appropriate management.
• Identifies regulatory changes that will affect information security policy, standards, and procedures, and recommends appropriate changes.
• Aids and training to security colleagues members.
• Plans, develops, and implements administrative functions within the Security Department and ensure company policy and procedures are followed.
• Evaluates the requirements for the department’s manpower, equipment, material and communication needs.
• Formulates and recommends Policy and Procedures, Emergency and Contingency Plans, Programs and supervises the execution upon its approval.
• Reviews and approvals of all finished investigation reports submitted by the Chief Investigator.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in security management, Law Enforcement, or any related field
• Usually 8–15 years of progressive security experience.
• 5+ years in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience managing security operations & surveillance systems, risk management programs, emergency response & incident management, budgeting, procurement, and compliance
• Background in law enforcement, military, or corporate security is an advantage.
• Strong leadership of large security teams.
• Strategic planning and policy development.
