The Cadet Engineer is responsible for acquiring foundational knowledge and practical exposure to thermal power plant operations and maintenance. This role supports the development of technical, operational, and safety competencies through structured training, supervised hands-on activities, and cross-functional learning.

The Cadet Engineer is expected to learn plant systems, operational procedures, maintenance processes, and interdepartmental coordination to prepare for future technical roles in Operations & Maintenance (O&M), Chief Engineering and Projects Office (CEPO), or Chief Asset Management Office (CAMO).

The role provides exposure to key power generation technologies including but not limited to:

• CFB (Circulating Fluidized Bed) coal-fired boiler systems
• PC (Pulverized Coal) boiler systems
• Diesel-fired power generation units
  
  

The position is designed as a structured development pathway leading to future technical engineering roles within the thermal power plant organization.

Experience (No. Of Years)

Professional: Fresh graduates or with up to 1 year of experience in industrial, power generation, or heavy industry environments.

Leadership : At least with experience as an officer of an academic club or a student organization

Project: Not required, but preferred

Bachelor’s/ College Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Chemistry
