Technical Writer Intern

Overview

We are seeking a Technical & Process Writer Intern to help document, standardize, and improve internal and customer-facing content. You will work closely with product, engineering, operations, and customer service teams to capture knowledge, improve processes, and support scalable growth. This is a 10 week paid internship.

Responsibilities

• Document internal processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and workflows across teams
• Create and maintain user guides, knowledge base articles, and training materials
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and validate information
• Audit existing documentation and recommend improvements for clarity and consistency
• Support onboarding materials for new employees and customers
• Assist in organizing and maintaining documentation repositories
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve documentation quality
  
  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, Business, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, structured content
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams
• Ability to critically assess and edit content, including AI-generated content for clarity, accuracy, and bias
  
  

Preferred Qualifications (Optional but helpful for ideal candidate targeting)

• Basic understanding of software products, SaaS environments, or customer service operations
• Familiarity with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Zendesk, or similar) Preferred tools, systems, or methodologies
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar) for writing, research, or productivity tasks
