General Summary
The Education Coordinator supports the Association’s educational goals by ensuring the smooth planning, coordination, and execution of all education-related programs, classes, and events.
This role requires exceptional customer service, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Education Coordinator works closely with the Vice President, Director of Education, and team members to deliver a positive, professional, and seamless member experience.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and committed to fostering a collaborative and welcoming environment that reflects the Association’s values.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Support & Communication
Answer in-person, phone, and online inquiries regarding education programs
Promote classes and educational events via phone, chat, and in person
Communicate with instructors regarding schedules, materials, and requirements
- Class & Education Program Coordination
Register, reschedule, and manage member enrollments in CRM systems
Coordinate CE and non-CE classes, webinars, panels, summits, and events
Maintain accurate records for New Member Orientation, Code of Ethics, CE, and post-licensing requirements
Monitor class compliance and ensure adherence to FREC rules
- Event & Classroom Operations
Set up and break down classrooms for in-person and virtual sessions
Coordinate materials including signage, handouts, AV equipment, refreshments, and supplies
Complete event checklists before, during, and after classes
Support troubleshooting during events and sessions
- Records, Reporting & Administration
Maintain attendance records, certificates, and course tracking
Prepare reports and weekly education history updates
Process refunds, transfers, check requests, and other payments
Maintain updated promotional materials and education calendars
- Team & Administrative Support
Assist Director of Education with planning and class entry
Support affiliate sponsorship coordination and alumni engagement
Maintain positive relationships with instructors, members, and stakeholders
Participate in professional development and training as needed
Qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
Professional, positive, and solutions-oriented mindset
Ability to work flexible schedules as needed
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups
Preferred
Experience in education coordination, association management, or administrative support
Familiarity with REALTOR® association operations and education programs
Bilingual fluency strongly preferred
