This role is not suitable for under-18s because of lone working. There may be other roles available, including front-of-house and kitchen roles.

The role

At a glance, your role is to clean all areas of the hotel thoroughly, with the aim of enhancing the guests` experience by having excellent standards of cleanliness at all times.

Duties Include

• interacting politely with guests - greeting them, saying `thank you` and `goodbye`
• servicing bedrooms and all other areas of the hotel in line with our standard operating procedures
• completing daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks, as required
• following correct procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment
• monitoring cleaning supplies and notifying the manager when more are needed
• storing all laundry correctly and completing relevant documentation
• adhering to stock-control procedures and maintaining security of stock at all times
• reporting any security issues, safety hazards, accidents, incidents and/or maintenance issues to the manager on duty
• completing required induction, role-specific and ongoing refresher training and contributing to continuous improvement
