Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director for New Products Marketing within US Oncology. The scope of responsibility for the New Products team includes both oncology and hematology assets in development. This Director role will report directly to the Executive Director who leads this New Products team. As a Director for New Products, you will lead commercial strategy for selected pipeline assets from early development through handoff to launch teams, partnering closely with our global marketing partners, as well as teams in the US market who focus on in‑line marketing, organized customer access and reimbursement, medical affairs and other cross-functional teams. You will also guide US forecasting for your assigned pipeline assets to ensure strong US commercial input into clinical development and global asset strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop US commercial strategies for pipeline assets in collaboration with global commercial teams and other cross-functional partners.
- Ensure strong integration of US commercial insights into global brand strategic plans, clinical trial planning, and decision‑making.
- Guide creation of US forecasts for upcoming launches in collaboration with finance, forecasting, and other partners.
- Shape early scientific, unbranded, and go‑to‑market strategies (positioning, segmentation, channel).
- Ensure seamless, well‑documented handoff to US launch teams as assets progress toward commercialization.
- Navigate internal and external environments successfully to deliver exceptional value.
- Proactively monitor market dynamics, competitive evolution, and emerging trends to anticipate future opportunities and risks and guide our positioning in market.
- Identify gaps in product, disease, or customer understanding and implement plans to address these gaps with market insights.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10 years of experience in marketing or new products strategy within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent scientific acumen and strategic thinking, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing gaps.
- Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Proven ability to partner effectively across teams, such as tumor marketing, cross‑functional teams, and global stakeholders, to maximize business impact.
Preferred
- Education: MBA, PharmD, or PhD
- Experience in US oncology/hematology marketing
- Experience leading development and commercialization of new products

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. The salary range for this role is
$190,800.00 - $300,300.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
