As a Collection Specialist, You Will Ensure That

  • checks are collected within the agreed date of pick-up from clients.
  • payment details/reference are secured and complete within the agreed time
  • billings package is delivered based on the service level agreement
  • billing requirements are secured and delivered to concerned persons/department

What You’ll Do (your Mission)

Functional Duties

  • Receives and checks the billings according to the transmittal received from AR
  • Management Team.
  • Prepares daily itinerary report for scheduled delivery of billings, letters and
  • collection pick-up.
  • Delivers all prepared billing package to the client site and ensures that the
  • billings are received by the authorized contact person to avoid loss of billings.
  • 4. Collects client’s payment and certificates of withholding tax (BIR 2307).
  • 5. Surrender all collections (checks or PDCs) and OR booklets to AR Accountant
  • for encoding in the Daily Collection Report.
  • 6. Issued official receipt should be accounted and there should be no instance of
  • skipped series. In the event of cancelled series of official receipts, ensures that
  • the original copy is attached when the booklet is surrendered to the AR
  • Accountant.
  • 7. Timely pick-up and delivery of billing requirements to/from 2GO Ops
  • team/Billing Documentation Team/Customer.

Other Essential Duties

  • Assists AR Management Team to follow up payment status of due invoices.
  • Immediately relays customer concerns to Collection Manager for proper action and disposition.

Educational Background

  • Graduate of any business course, preferably Accounting Major.

Professional Experience

  • 1-year work-related experience

Competencies, Skills, Knowledge And Abilities

  • With Driver’s License

  • Computer Literate
  • Knowledge in MS Office
  • Average Communication Skills, both oral and written
  • Time Management
  • Interpersonal Skills
