The Opportunity
Lead a critical team at the heart of Allegro MicroSystems global supply chain! As the Supervisor for Product Warehouse & Shipping Logistics, you will have the opportunity to oversee our 24-hour operations, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, efficiency, and safety. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will mentor a dedicated team, drive continuous improvement using PDCA principles, and play a vital part in our inventory control and order fulfillment processes. What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
Operations & Inventory Management:
Oversee 24-hour Product Warehouse and Shipping Logistics operations, ensuring all parts are received, stored, issued, and packed according to standards.
Plan and execute cycle counts and other inventory control measures.
Ensure all lots are properly transacted in Oracle, accurately labeled, and released to forwarders on time, strictly following the "ship-confirm, release same day" policy.
Maintain excellent housekeeping (5S standards) and conduct regular audits.
Manage the scrapping of reject materials in accordance with standard procedures.
Team Supervision & Development:
Supervise, appraise performance, and manage the attendance/payroll approvals (myHR) for all warehouse and shipping personnel.
Ensure all employees are certified and qualified to perform their specific duties.
Design, plan, and facilitate training, refreshers, and orientations for your team.
Maintain and update all team training records.
Systems, Processes & Continuous Improvement:
Perform Oracle and MES transactions as needed and ensure all system transactions are accurate to facilitate tracking.
Generate system deviation reports and initiate corrective actions.
Revise and review logistics manuals, OCAPs, and job standards.
Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system changes as requested.
Adhere to the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) principle to drive never-ending improvement in operations.
Coordination & Communication:
Highlight and communicate operational issues to Production, Quality, and Planning teams.
Coordinate with internal planners and other sections regarding non-moving lots, changes in shipment details, and system discrepancies.
Submit weekly operational highlights and reports.
Who You Are (Qualifications/Desired Skills)
Education & Experience:
B.S. Engineering degree plus 2 years of experience as an individual contributor, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Technical & Functional Skills:
Proficient in performing Oracle & MES transactions.
Strong planning, scheduling, auditing, and organizing skills.
Possesses strong decision-making abilities.
Leadership Attributes:
Demonstrated ability to supervise a team and manage performance.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with multiple departments.
A proactive mindset geared towards continuous improvement and operational excellence.
