Role Description

In this role, you will support the engineering team by preparing detailed structural drawings and Revit models for various projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. You will collaborate closely with structural engineers, project managers, and architects to create precise, coordinated, and efficient designs, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• 3D Modeling and Drafting: Develop and manage Revit models for structural systems, including foundations, framing, connections, and other structural components.
• Structural Design Support: Assist engineers in analyzing and designing structural elements, ensuring designs adhere to relevant codes and project requirements.
• Documentation: Produce detailed construction documents, including drawings, schedules, and annotations, with accuracy and clarity for use in construction and project planning.
• Coordination: Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other disciplines to ensure the integration and coordination of all structural elements within the Revit model.
• Quality Control: Review models and drawings to identify and resolve any clashes or design inconsistencies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
• Project Management Support: Maintain project timelines, prioritize tasks, and communicate with team members and clients as necessary to ensure timely project delivery.
• Innovation and Best Practices: Stay current with industry trends, tools, and techniques in structural design and Revit modeling. Contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting standards and workflows.
  
  

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Motivated to learn new things and grow within the company, quick learner, attention to detail, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• 2+ years working with Autodesk Revit on structural engineering projects is required
• Experience with Navisworks and other BIM tools is a plus
• Solid understanding of structural design principles, load paths, and building systems. Design experience not required but would be preferred
• Knowledge of relevant building codes (e.g., IBC, ACI, AISC) and industry standards is a plus.

• Homebased Set-up
• Should have strong internet connection (minimum of 20 mbps)
• Must be willing to work M-F 6pm - 3am Manila Time
