Overview

Were looking for a Senior-level Estimator who can run commercial paint and wallcovering estimates from start to finish while overseeing the work of junior estimators. This is a remote position with regular Zoom check-ins. We use Togal.ai for takeoffs and will pay you during the transition period from the software that you currently use.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform digital takeoffs using Togal.ai (training period provided)
• Review plans, specs, addenda, and RFIs for scope accuracy
• Transfer quantities into our internal Excel pricing sheets
• Build full cost estimates: materials, labor, equipment, markups
• Create clean, accurate proposal documents in Microsoft Word
• Oversee, correct, and guide the work of junior estimators
• Maintain organized records of estimates, revisions, and clarifications
• Join scheduled Zoom calls with the office team to review progress and workload
• Collaborate with project managers and ownership on tight timelines
• Identify and communicate scope of work gaps/questions with general contractors
• Manage multiple projects efficiently, utilizing a multi-monitor setup for optimal workflow
  
  

Required Skills

• Senior-level estimating experience in painting, wallcovering, or related trades
• Basic level excel capability
• Confident building professional proposals in Word
• Ability to communicate with and quality-check junior estimators
• Strong reading comprehension of construction drawings and specifications
  
  

Preferred

• Familiarity with GC bid platforms (Procore, BuildingConnected, etc.)
  
  

Work Schedule (Nightshift - US Client)

• Monday to Friday (10PM-7AM; Manila Time)
  
  

Work Setup (WFH)

• Permanent Homebased
• Equipment will be provided by the company
• Hired staff is required to have a stable and reliable internet connection with at least 20MBPS for both download AND upload speed.
