About The Client (US)

A family owned and operated General Contracting and Real Estate Development firm serving the lower Hudson Valley and Fairfield County for over 100 years and 5 generations.

Job Summary: The Construction Sales and Estimator will play a critical role in expanding our business and driving revenue growth. This dual-role position combines new lead generation, relationship management, and estimating responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry, with a focus on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and sales, while providing accurate cost estimates for projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold calling.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, contractors, architects, and engineers.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to generate leads and foster relationships.
• Develop and present proposals, presentations, and bids to prospective clients.
• Collaborate with the project management and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Review project plans, specifications, and scope of work to develop comprehensive estimates.
• Analyze project requirements and develop bid packages for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure estimates are aligned with project goals and timelines.
• Evaluate risk factors and recommend cost-effective solutions to optimize project budgets.
• Ensure all estimates comply with company standards, contractual obligations, and industry regulations.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development and/or estimating.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and estimating software.
• Proven track record of generating new business and securing contracts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and other relevant software.
  
  

Work Schedule (Nightshift)

• Monday to Friday (10PM-7AM; Manila Time)
  
  

Work Setup (WFH)

• Permanent Homebased
• Equipment will be provided by the company
• Hired staff is required to have a stable and reliable internet connection with at least 20MBPS for both download AND upload speed.
