About the Role

The Senior Cash Applier is responsible for accurate and timely application of incoming payments to advertiser and brand partner accounts. This role requires a strong attention to detail, deep knowledge of accounts receivable processes, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Billing, and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure integrity of our revenue records

Work hours: 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM PHT / 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (Night Shift)

Work set-up: Remote

What you’ll do

• Process and apply high volumes of incoming payments (ACH, wire, check, credit card) to the appropriate advertiser accounts daily
• Reconcile unapplied cash and research payment discrepancies in a timely manner
• Partner with the AR and Billing teams to resolve short payments, overpayments, and misapplied funds
• Communicate directly with brand partners and internal Account Managers to obtain remittance details and resolve open items
• Maintain accurate records in the ERP/billing system (e.g., NetSuite) and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Assist with month-end close activities, including cash reconciliation and reporting
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve cash application processes and workflows
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior AR team members
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and reporting as needed

What You Bring

• 3-5+ years of experience in cash application, accounts receivable, or a related finance role
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment; advertising, Saas, or tech industry experience a plus
• Proficiency with ERP systems — NetSuite experience strongly preferred
• Strong Excel skills; experience with data reconciliation and reporting
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities under deadline pressure

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with digital advertising billing cycles or 10 (Insertion Order) based billing
• Experience with automated cash application tools or OCR-based remittance processing
