About The Client (UK)

Our UK client specializes in the design, manufacture, installation, and servicing of cutting-edge and customized Smoke and Fire Curtains for various buildings

We are seeking are seeking an experienced CAD Technician as we take on interesting large-scale projects. Working on technically complex and challenging projects within the building industry, CAD Technician will be involved in project technical drafting as well as collaboration with relevant team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Create high-quality technical drawings of Fire / Smoke Curtains (plans, sections & details) based on drawings supplied by client and information supplied by survey and make modifications to existing drawings
• Create schematic diagrams required for Fire / Smoke Curtain project
• Provide accurate, detailed and to scale drawings
• Provide drawing register and schedule that aligns with the project requirements
• Liaise with architects, engineers, designers, Project Manager and other relevant individual (via email or Teams meeting) to understand the design requirements
• Ensure drawings are compliant with industry standards and protocols
• Able to explore, upload and download files to & from collaborative sites/CDE (Asite, V4P, Aconex, etc.)
• Conduct quality checks on completed drawings to identify any errors or discrepancies
• Communicate effectively with team Lead to ensure project deadlines are met
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented
• Extensive knowledge in utilising AutoCAD software (At least 5 years experience Preferable)
• Experience with different collaborative sites (Asite, V4P, Aconex etc.) (Basic training will be provided if required)
• Able to read or interpret Architectural / Construction drawing (At least 5 years experience Preferable)
• Knowledge in Building Construction Materials
• Drawing Project Ownership

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Construction/Manufacturing Design experience
• Technical Drafting Course advantageous
  
  

Work Schedule (Mid-shift)

• Monday to Friday (1PM-10PM; Manila Time)
  
  

Work Setup (Hybrid)

• Hybrid work arrangement - at least 10 office visits in SM North office
• Equipment will be provided by the company
• Hired staff is required to have a stable and reliable internet connection with at least 20MBPS for both download AND upload speed.
