The Allegro team is united by a clear purpose—advancing technologies that make the world safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. With over 30 years of experience in semiconductor innovation, we bring that purpose to life across every part of the business—from breakthrough product development and customer success to how we show up for each other and the communities we serve.
The Opportunity
Allegro is seeking a detail-oriented and globally-minded Product and Material Compliance Specialist to join our Quality team. In this pivotal role, you will be the bridge between our innovative semiconductor products and the complex world of global environmental regulations. You will ensure that Allegro remains a leader in sustainability and compliance by managing material declarations, interfacing with international customers, and staying ahead of evolving standards like RoHS and REACH. This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional who enjoys technical documentation, cross-functional collaboration, and playing a key role in Allegro’s commitment to "Innovation with Purpose" and environmental stewardship.
What You Will Do
Champion Global Compliance: Interface with internal and external customers to provide critical environmental declarations, composition data, and test results. You will manage submissions for IMDS/CAMDS and handle inquiries regarding conflict minerals (CMRT/EMRT).
Monitor Regulatory Trends: Stay at the forefront of the industry by monitoring the latest updates on global environmental regulations (RoHS, REACH, WEEE, PFAS, CalProp 65) and industry material data systems.
Manage Customer Portals: Take ownership of entering environmental compliance data into various customer portals and developing revised declaration forms to ensure we meet all statutory requirements.
Drive System Diligence: Monitor and generate reports to ensure the integrity of our compliance systems. You will collaborate with the management team to review and update compliance policies, procedures, and manuals.
Lead Technical Training: Develop and maintain product compliance training materials and lead training programs for analysts to ensure a high level of expertise across the team.
Coordinate External Testing: Manage the process for sending product samples for external laboratory testing and maintain all resulting test reports within the ETQ-Quality SOC records.
Supplier Engagement: Communicate directly with material suppliers and subcontractors to gather necessary environmental compliance information and maintain accurate material profiles in ETQ modules.
What Will You Bring?
A Bachelors degree (preferred) or equivalent with at least 2 years of related experience.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
A solid understanding of the electronics and semiconductor industry.
Familiarity with global environmental regulations such as RoHS, REACH, Packaging Directive, WEEE, PFAS, and CalProp 65.
Experience with IMDS and CAMDS systems, as well as Ethical Minerals reporting templates (CMRT, EMRT, AMRT), is a significant plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on resolving customer issues through technical data.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage complex documentation workflows.
