Role Overview

We are seeking a thoughtful and detail-oriented pharmacist to join our team in a remote dispensing capacity, supporting the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of patient-specific medications. This position is ideal for a pharmacist with strong written and spoken English, sound clinical judgment, and a genuine respect for the responsibilities inherent in pharmacy practice.

Working closely with on-site pharmacists, technicians, and the administrative team, the successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the precision, compliance, and patient-centered standards that define our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct remote dispensing using the pharmacys dispensing platform (FRED Dispense), ensuring prescriptions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with regulatory and professional standards.
  • Review patient medication histories to identify potential risks, including contraindications, duplications, or high-risk combinations, and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Monitor prescribing patterns and SafeScript alerts, supporting clinically sound and responsible dispensing decisions.
  • Assist in coordinating dispensing workflows to maintain timely turnaround, including supporting high-volume or bulk dispensing periods when required.
  • Collaborate closely with on-site compounding pharmacists and dispensary technicians, ensuring continuity, clarity, and accuracy across remote and in-house processes.
  • Verify that all medication labels, instructions, packaging, and documentation are correct, complete, and aligned with prescription and formulation requirements.
  • Review formulation sheets to confirm ingredient selection, concentrations, calculations, and compounding instructions are precise and appropriate for each order.
  • Uphold meticulous record-keeping practices to support audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and patient safety.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal team members to resolve queries, clarify prescriptions, and support smooth operational flow.

Professional Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy practice experience (hospital, community, or remote dispensing)
  • Registered pharmacist in the relevant jurisdiction (e.g., Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, or other applicable licensing authority)
  • Proficiency with pharmacy dispensing software (FRED Dispense only)
  • Experience with compounded medications and formulation review
  • Prior experience in high-volume or bulk dispensing environments
  • Exposure to multi-site pharmacy operations or remote/telepharmacy workflows
  • Familiarity with SafeScript or other prescription monitoring systems
  • Knowledge of regulatory, professional, and compliance standards in pharmacy practice
  • Experience supporting audits and regulatory compliance processes

Work Arrangement

  • Home-based ; Should have strong internet connection (minimum of 20 mbps)

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Manila Time
