QA Engineer

We are looking for a Manila-based QA Engineer with experience working on mobile products.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements discussion to release
• Perform manual pre-release testing for iOS and Android apps and prepare detailed reports
• Test new features to ensure high product quality
• Monitor Support team reports and log bugs based on user feedback
• Execute performance, usability, and compatibility testing for mobile applications
• Take part in internal team meetings as well as cross-functional discussions with other teams to align on product quality and testing strategies

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

This role is open to candidates based in Manila, Philippines, without the need for a work permit or visa sponsorship.

• Hands-on experience in manual testing of mobile applications for both iOS and Android.
• Ability to efficiently isolate defects and provide clear reproduction steps.
• Experience using debug tools (e.g. Xcode, Android Studio) and analyzing logs.
• Skilled in writing and maintaining well-structured test cases and test documentation.
• Good understanding of the mobile software development lifecycle.
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
• Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.

Top skills:

• 2+ years of experience testing mobile apps (iOS and Android)
• Experience with Confluence/Jira
• Experience with social mobile apps
• Familiarity with Charles Proxy and API testing
