We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to join our client's expanding Operations team.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting directly to the New Zealand-based Product Database Manager, you will play a crucial role within the Operations team. You will drive supply chain efficiency by keeping inventory accurate, supporting smooth procurement workflows, and maintaining seamless operational continuity.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing Procurement & Inquiries: Ownership of the purchasing inbox to process supplier inquiries, place purchase orders according to schedules, and maintain reliable vendor communication.
• Inventory Control & Stock Accuracy: Coordinating regular stocktakes, reconciling inventory data, and resolving discrepancies to maintain high accuracy and prevent stock-outs.
• Import & Shipment Tracking: Tracking incoming shipments, managing import documentation, and ensuring timely deliveries.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with Operations and Production teams to report stock lead times and resolve logistics issues proactively.
• Data Integrity & BOM Support: Maintaining detailed database records and supporting Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy for seamless operational execution.

What You’ll Bring

• Supply Chain & Procurement Expertise: Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory management, or supply chain administration.
• Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency with inventory management systems, ERP software, databases, and spreadsheets.
• Meticulous Attention to Detail: Outstanding data entry accuracy, organizational skills, and database record maintenance capabilities.
• Strong Communication: Excellent spoken and written English communication skills for collaborating across remote international teams.
