This role will play a key part in delivering trusted insights through well-designed data models, robust DAX calculations, and secure reporting solutions. You will work closely with data, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive, performant, and scalable Power BI solutions.

What are you expected to do?

PowerBI Report Development

• Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards, including:
• Interactive, analytical reports drill-throughs, tooltips, bookmarks, and navigation
• Near real-time operational dashboards
• Paginated reports (Fixed layout, print-friendly reports)
• KPI tiles and dynamic visuals
  
• Build and maintain robust DAX measures and calculations, including:
• Time intelligence
• Dynamic and context-aware measures
  
• Ensure optimal performance, usability, and consistency across reports
• Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS)
  
  

Data Integration and Modelling:

• Integrate Power BI solutions with Databricks SQL Warehouses
• Consume curated Gold-layer views to support trusted analytics
• Develop efficient and scalable data models aligned to best practices
  
  
  

Tooling, DevOps and Governance:

• Use Tabular Editor and DAX Studio for model optimisation and development
• Manage Power BI Service assets, including: Workspaces, Datasets, Gateways and Refresh schedules
• Follow Git-based workflows for version control and deployment
• Support BI governance, documentation, and development standards
  
  
  

Workflow and Automation (Desirable)

• Exposure to Power Apps and Power Automate to support: End-to-end workflows, Report comments and Write-back scenarios
• Contribute to improved user interaction and process automation where applicable
  
  
  

You’ll be a great fit if:

• You have 3–5 years’ experience in BI report development
• You have at least 2 years’ hands-on Power BI professional experience
• You are expert in Power BI report design (interactive/analytical, paginated and dashboards), DAX (including time intelligence) and Data modelling best practices
• You have an experience implementing RLS and OLS
• You are familiar with Power BI Service administration
• You have experience integrating Power BI with Databricks; Databricks SQL Warehouses and curated data layers
• You are proficient in using Tabular Editor and DAX Studio
• You have a good understanding of Git-based development workflows and exposure to Power Apps and Power Automate
• You have experience developing and managing BI reports and dashboards related to finance.
• You are highly attentive to detail and data accuracy
• You are capable of translating business needs into clear insights
• You have a collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
• You are amenable to work from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (PH time) under a 6-month project-based engagement. Please note that there may be an opportunity for extension or regularization based on the client’s needs.

Please note: This role is remote; however, we require candidates to be based locally in the Philippines. This is to support occasional onsite activities such as team events, client meetings, or equipment handover. Additionally, local residency is necessary for compliance with Philippines labor laws and employment regulations.
