Your Role

As a L1 Support, you will:

  • Provide helpdesk support by responding to technical inquiries via phone, email, and ticketing systems
  • Log, document, and track user issues while identifying root causes and resolutions
  • Troubleshoot software, hardware, network, and user-related issues
  • Assess issue severity and escalate complex cases to Level 2 or Level 3 support when required
  • Deliver basic user training on software applications, IT tools, password resets, and account management
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions
  • Update knowledge bases and FAQs to support efficient future issue resolution
  • Monitor systems, networks, and servers using alerting and monitoring tools to proactively identify issues
  • Provide professional, courteous, and customer-focused support to ensure a positive user experience

What You Need

Non-negotiables

  • Qualification in IT or a related field
  • Experience working in technical support, service desk, or similar roles
  • Hands-on experience with service desk or ticketing tools such as Jira or Zendesk
  • Strong customer service orientation with clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Competency using collaboration and productivity tools including Microsoft Teams, Slack, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Windows

Preferred Skills/expertise

  • Technical expertise in application support
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly AWS
  • Ability to read .NET Core C# code and scripts
  • Familiarity with deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes
  • Knowledge of AWS CDK
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
