This role is responsible for the full payroll function servicing and actively participate as a member of the Payroll Team. This includes but is not limited to employee change processes, pre & post payroll tasks, payroll reporting,

payroll data validation, facilitating payroll sign-off processes and month-end tasks.

Payroll Processing

 End to end payroll processing of Australia & New Zealand payroll. This includes administration and processing of new starters, change in employee details, superannuation, salary increases, terminations, Workers Compensation weekly benefits payments, allowances and deductions.

 Administration/follow up of fortnightly timesheets.

 Assist with reviewing audit reports for each payroll, following up any discrepancies.

 Assist with reconciliation of fortnightly payroll reports for accurate data submission via STP.

 Administration of Industrial Agreements (Fast Food Industry Award & Restaurant Industry Award) updates as determined by Fair Work Australia.

Payroll Reporting & Other Associated Activities.

 Management of employee payroll enquiries within the agreed SLA timeframe.

 Preparation and reconciliation of fortnightly payroll reports as required.

 Preparation, reconciliation and submission of monthly employee superannuation contribution.

 Preparation, reconciliation and submission of fortnightly PAYG payment.

 Preparation, reconciliation and submission of monthly Third-Party payments.

 Reconcile month end payroll accounts and preparation of month end reporting as required.

 Participate in Payroll system testing for software upgrades as and when appropriate.

 Assist with the reconciliation of annual payroll reports.

Experience

 A minimum of 5 years (or equivalent) demonstrated related experience in a similar position.

 Experience with medium tiered payroll and HR systems (Payroll Metrics, Humanforce, IntelliHR preferred).

 Experience in delivering impeccable customer/stakeholder service.

Qualifications (Current And To Be Maintained By Employee)

 May have, or be undertaking, a formal qualification in Payroll Services / Accounting or HR.

Knowledge & Skills

 Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.

 Strong understanding of Industrial Agreements.

 Understanding of spreadsheets, data analysis and reconciliation procedures.

 Strong administrative and procedural skills with excellent attention to detail.

 Intermediate knowledge of Excel.

 Maturity and confidence to deal with confidential and/or sensitive information.

 Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

 Always conduct themselves with a high level or integrity and professionalism.

Work Schedule

  • 5:30AM - 2:30PM Manila Time, Monday to Friday
