Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly merchant account reconciliations between NetSuite and Shopify and research and resolve any variances at the transaction and NetSuite record level
• Prepare and maintain reconciliation schedules with supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end close: account tie-outs, balance checks, and report preparation
• Follow standard accounting and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Support Accounts Payable with bill entry, Accounts Receivable with vendor statement reconciliations
• Perform detailed reviews of employee credit card expenses via Brex to confirm compliance with company policy and proper accounting classification (department, channel, location, account), escalating discrepancies as needed
• Provide reports and data extracts from NetSuite when required
• Assist with internal/external audits by preparing requested reconciliations and schedules
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• 3-5 years of Accounting or reconciliation experience (shared service/BPO experience preferred)
• NetSuite, Shopify, e-commerce/retail and consumer goods experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reconciliation templates)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to meet deadlines
• Good written and spoken English communication skills
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close requirements
