The Company

The Role

We are seeking a Technical Lead with strong expertise in fullstack development and cloud infrastructure. This role combines hands-on coding with project leadership, ensuring scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient solutions while coordinating offshore teams and driving Agile processes. The ideal candidate has deep experience in Python, React, and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP, with proven skills in managing CI/CD pipelines, code quality, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

Fullstack Development (Infrastructure Focused):

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Python for backend and React for frontend.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) focusing on networking, monitoring, scaling, and cost optimization.
• Work with cloud platforms optimized for geospatial data (AWS S3, Google Earth Engine).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Handle database management across SQL and NoSQL systems.
• Use Docker for containerization and orchestration.
• Utilize Git/GitHub or GitLab for version control and code reviews.
• Collaborate within Agile environments using tools such as Jira.
  
  

Technical Project Management:

• Lead daily standups and coordinate with offshore development teams.
• Manage the product backlog, including ticket assignment and grooming.
• Oversee progress tracking, ensuring code quality, proper documentation, and timely delivery.
• Conduct sprint planning, retrospectives, and showcase completed work to stakeholders.
• Facilitate clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify and assign tasks based on the product development pipeline and organizational priorities.
• Review and coordinate offshore development efforts to maintain alignment and efficiency.
• Apply Agile project management methodologies using Jira and Git-based workflows.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and associated tools for geospatial data.
• Proficiency in Python for backend development and familiarity with React for frontend.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and containerization (Docker).
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
• Strong organizational and leadership skills in Agile project management (Jira).
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, particularly in remote or distributed teams
