Administer and manage relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, DocumentDB), and In-Memory Databases (Redis, Memcached, SAP HANA) across production, development, and test environments.

Install, configure, and maintain database servers and related software.

• Performance Tuning & Optimization
  
  
  

Optimize complex SQL queries and indexing strategies for both relational and non-relational databases, as well as data retrieval strategies and caching mechanisms for in-memory databases.

• Security & Compliance
  
  
  

Implement and enforce database security policies to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

• Automation & Scripting
  
  
  

Develop and maintain automation scripts to handle repetitive database administration tasks such as backup schedules, patching, scaling, and provisioning for relational and in-memory databases.

• Database Architecture & Design
  
  
  

Design and implement scalable database architectures that incorporate both relational and non-relational databases and in-memory databases as appropriate to meet business needs.

• Troubleshooting & Incident Management
  
  
  

Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues related to performance, replication, availability, and recovery.

Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for database-related incidents and implement preventive measures.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  
  
  

Work closely with application development teams to understand database requirements and provide guidance on database optimization.

Collaborate with system administrators, DevOps teams, and network engineers to ensure databases are well-integrated within the infrastructure.
