Construction Estimator Homebased

Job Description

This role is primarily focused on technical estimating support, including plan measurement, material take-offs, and producing estimate documentation for review by our senior estimating team.

Key Responsibilities

• Measuring architectural and structural plans
• Producing detailed quantity take-offs (BOQs)
• Preparing material schedules and trade quantities
• Assisting with the production of full estimate reports
• Completing labor and material breakdowns as instructed
• Supporting senior estimators with variations and tender documentation
• Ensuring estimates are accurate, well-structured, and delivered on time
• Maintaining consistent internal estimating standards and templates
  
  

• Experience in construction estimating, quantity take-offs, or drafting support
• Ability to read and interpret Australian and New Zealand construction drawings
• Experience using Cubit by Buildsoft is strongly desired
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong numeracy and measurement skills
• Competency in Excel and PDF mark-up tools
• Ability to follow documented processes and instructions
