About the Role

McCann Philippines is hiring a Business Unit Head to lead one of our business units. You will own the business performance, client relationships, and creative effectiveness of a major portfolio within the agency. This role requires a leader who is strategic, commercially sharp, culturally fluent, and inspiring to multidisciplinary teams.

What You Will Lead

Business Leadership & Revenue Growth

  • Expand existing business and identify organic growth opportunities.
  • Lead prospecting, qualification, and pitch strategy for new business.
  • Shape compelling pitch narratives and proposals that win.
  • Oversee pricing, scoping, and margins for commercial sustainability.
  • Ensure all LOAs, MSAs, CEs, and approvals are accurate and finalized before work begins.

Client Leadership & Relationship Management

  • Build trusted senior‑level partnerships with clients across the business.
  • Provide clear strategic direction to internal teams based on client needs.
  • Lead consumer‑focused planning for major campaigns.
  • Maintain seamless alignment across clients, strategy, creative, social, and production.
  • Deliver consistently strong client satisfaction and partnership quality.

Product Leadership & Creative Effectiveness

  • Champion work that is creatively strong, culturally relevant, and business‑driving.
  • Guide idea development, storytelling, and solution framing.
  • Ensure outputs are clear, compelling, and rooted in real audience and cultural context.
  • Support teams in staying current with consumer behavior and cultural shifts.
  • Drive work that resonates in culture and contributes to brand performance.

Operational Leadership & Margin Performance

  • Lead revenue forecasting with accuracy and discipline.
  • Monitor receivables and proactively manage client financial risks.
  • Align resources, workflows, and team structure to deliver quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure operational rigor to meet OI and margin targets.

People Leadership & Culture

  • Develop and grow high‑potential talent within the business unit.
  • Build a culture grounded in clarity, psychological safety, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Partner with TA for sourcing needs and succession planning.
  • Model McCann’s values daily in leadership and decision‑making.

Experience

What You Bring

  • 10+ years in account management, brand leadership, or integrated marketing.
  • Proven ability to lead large client portfolios and senior relationships.
  • Strong track record in growth, pitch leadership, and commercial management.
  • Experience directing integrated teams across creative, strategy, data, and social.
  • Background in solving brand or business challenges with strategic and creative solutions.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and creative instinct.
  • Powerful communicator and presenter; strong narrative and persuasion skills.
  • Commercially sharp — confident in pricing, forecasting, scoping, and negotiation.
