Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Appointment Setter to support our sales team in connecting with employers across Manitoba and the Canadian prairies. The ideal candidate will excel at outreach, lead generation, and scheduling meetings with decision-makers responsible for employee benefits. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in business development or sales within the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to employers in the designated regions.
  • Book meetings for sales representatives to discuss group benefits insurance, including health and dental packages.
  • Identify and engage decision-makers responsible for employee benefits to generate qualified leads.
  • Gather and maintain key account information, such as insurance policy renewal dates.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, lead data, and scheduled meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to align on targets, priorities, and strategy.

Requirements:

  • Strong spoken and written communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to conduct cold outreach and successfully book meetings.
  • Strong prospecting skills with the ability to identify and qualify potential leads.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing outreach activities with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in group benefits insurance is not required; full training will be provided.
  • Ability to work during Central Time or similar time zones.
  • Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms such as Teams and Zoom.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and professional in client interactions.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM Manila Time

Work Location:

  • Home-based
  • Should have a strong internet connection (minimum of 20 MBPS)
  • Should have own laptop/pc (minimum of i5 8GB)

Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month
