About the Role

We’re looking for an Auto/Moto Underwriting Manager to build and lead our vehicle lending underwriting function. This role goes beyond reviewing applications — you’ll help design credit policies, improve decision frameworks, and scale underwriting operations as we grow.

You will balance growth and risk, ensuring fast approvals while maintaining strong portfolio quality.

What You’ll Do

Own Underwriting Operations

• Lead day-to-day underwriting for auto and motorcycle loans
• Approve complex or escalated cases
• Ensure consistent, high-quality credit decisions

Build & Improve Systems

• Design and refine underwriting policies and decision rules
• Work with Product and Data teams to enhance automation and scoring models
• Optimize approval turnaround times and customer experience

Manage Risk & Portfolio Health

• Monitor approval rates, delinquencies, and early default trends
• Identify risk patterns and implement corrective measures
• Balance growth targets with disciplined credit controls

Lead & Scale the Team

• Hire, train, and mentor underwriters
• Set KPIs and quality benchmarks
• Create a strong culture of accountability and sound credit judgment

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in auto/moto lending or consumer secured loans
• 2+ years leading underwriting or credit teams
• Strong understanding of credit risk, secured lending, and fraud indicators
• Experience in fintech or high-growth environments preferred
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving setups
