About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to support our Australian estimating and tendering operations. This role requires a candidate who can work independently, complete accurate take-offs and BOQs, and support tender submissions with minimal supervision

• Design & Construct (D&C)
• Early Contractor Involvement (ECI)
• Pre-Construction budgets
• Capital Works (lobby upgrades, base building upgrades, EOT works, amenities)
• Office fit outs, Commercial asset repositioning projects (interiors)
• Industrial refurbishments and upgrades
• Retail precinct upgrades
• Restoration & heritage works
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
• Read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP construction drawings
• Assist with preparing cost estimates using provided rates and templates
• Identify scope gaps, risks, and inconsistencies in documentation
• Support tender submissions and pricing schedules under deadline conditions
• Collaborate remotely with the Australian estimating team
• Maintain organised estimating records and pricing data
  
  

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 3+ years experience in commercial construction estimating, fit-out, or refurbishment
• Proven ability to complete independent take-offs and BOQs
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
• High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy
• Good understanding of Australian (or UK-equivalent) construction documentation and standards
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Excellent time management and ability to meet Australian tender deadlines
• Professional, reliable, "can-do" attitude
  
  

Highly Desirable

• Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Engineering
• Experience supporting Australian or international builders
• Familiarity with CostX, PlanSwift, Cubit, GroundPlan, Bluebeam, Buildsoft, or similar software
• Mid-level estimators with hands-on commercial estimating experience
• Candidates able to work independently with minimal supervision
  
  

Work Schedule (Dayshift)

• Monday to Friday 6AM-3PM; Manila Time
  
  

Work Setup (WFH)

• Homebased
• Candidates are expected to have a conducive (quiet, distraction-free) dedicated workspace
• Equipment will be provided by the company
• Hired staff is required to have a stable and reliable internet connection with at least 20MBPS for both download AND upload speed.
