About The Client (AU)

About The Role

This role is pivotal in delivering accurate, timely, and competitive costings for tiling projects. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in construction estimating with specific expertise in tiling, flooring, or related trades. Success in this role requires attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, suppliers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Conduct quantity take-offs from plans, factoring in all materials, labour, and wastage.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers for tiles, adhesives, grout, trims, and other project requirements.
• Prepare detailed quotations, cost breakdowns, and tender submissions.
• Work closely with project managers and site supervisors to align budgets with project requirements.
• Monitor project costs, track variances, and provide cost-control support where needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and clients to secure competitive pricing and reliable delivery.
• Stay informed on market prices, industry standards, and innovations in tiling materials and techniques.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator, ideally within tiling, flooring, or construction trades.
• Strong knowledge of tiling products, installation methods, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in estimating software, Excel, and digital take-off tools.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders/projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Relevant qualification in construction, quantity surveying, or a related field is advantageous
  
  

Work Schedule (Dayshift)

• Monday to Friday (7AM-4PM; Manila Time)
  
  

Work Setup (WFH)

• Permanent Homebased
• Candidates are expected to have a conducive (quiet, distraction-free) dedicated workspace
• Equipment will be provided by the company
• Hired staff is required to have a stable and reliable internet connection with at least 20MBPS for both download AND upload speed.
