About The Client

Based in Port Melbourne and operating across Australia since 2016, our client works alongside builders, architects and consultants to deliver facade solutions that not only meet design intent, but perform long-term.

About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to support our team with reviewing plans, preparing quantity takeoffs, identifying material requirements, and producing accurate cost estimates for construction projects. The role will work closely with the business to help streamline pricing and estimating across related operations.

• Review architectural and construction drawings, plans, and specifications
• Prepare quantity takeoffs, including square meterage and material requirements
• Develop accurate cost estimates and pricing summaries
• Coordinate with the internal team regarding product pricing and project requirements
• Assist in maintaining estimate records, worksheets, and supporting documentation
• Support estimating needs across related business operations as required
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating with the ability to prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for construction
• Experience working with multiple types of construction projects (e.g., residential, commmercial, or industrial)
• Knowledge of construction materials, pricing, and costing principles, with excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, or subcontractors to support pricing and project estimates
  
  

Nice to have

• Experience working in the Australian construction industry or familiarity with Australian building standards and terminology.
• Exposure to procurement, contract administration, or project coordination, in addition to estimating responsbilities.
• Experience reviewing subcontractor bids and trade pricing
• Familiarity with a variety of estimating software.
  
  

Work Schedule (Dayshift)

• Monday to Friday (7AM-4PM; Manila Time)
  
  

Work Setup (WFH)

• Permanent Homebased
• Candidate's are expected to have a conducive (quiet, distraction-free) dedicated workspace
• Equipment will be provided by the company
• Hired staff is required to have a stable and reliable internet connection with at least 20MBPS for both download AND upload speed.
