Your Role

As an Application Support Analyst, you will:

  • Take ownership of raised incidents through to resolution, ensuring minimal business disruption
  • Triage, troubleshoot, and escalate system and application issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Manage daily support queues and prioritize requests in line with business impact and SLAs
  • Lead incident investigations and implement workarounds and permanent solutions
  • Monitor application performance to ensure agreed service levels are consistently met
  • Track and report on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational metrics
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call roster to support incidents outside business hours
  • Support internal and regulatory technology audits as required
  • Contribute to project initiatives and attend relevant project and industry meetings
  • Investigate and recommend operational improvements and system enhancements
  • Assist with functional testing and validation activities

What You Need

Non-negotiables

  • Proven experience in Application Support, IT Support, or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of incident and problem management processes
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of SLA monitoring and reporting
  • Willingness to work in a shifting schedule and participate in a 24/7 roster

Preferred Skills/expertise

  • Experience supporting enterprise or customer-facing applications
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices
  • Exposure to application monitoring tools
  • Experience in regulated environments
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
