The Role

The Ansible Automation Engineer/Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions across complex infrastructures. This role works closely with development, operations, and customer teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient automation workflows using Ansible and complementary DevOps technologies. The position also involves leading integration projects, improving system architectures, and ensuring best practices in CI/CD, cloud, and systems administration.

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related technical fields.
• Strong experience with Ansible Core, Ansible Tower, and Ansible Automation Platform 2.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP cloud platforms.
• Expertise in code deployment and automation tools, especially Ansible; familiarity with Terraform is an advantage.
• Proficient with GitLab/GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong coding/scripting skills: PowerShell, Bash, Batch, etc.
• Experience with RHEL and Windows Server administration and VMware/ESXi.
• Proven collaboration across development, operations, and business teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability across platforms.
• Ability to suggest and implement architectural and process improvements.
• Solid understanding of security best practices and protective measures.
• Experience leading technical integration projects.
• Strong skills in gathering, documenting, and communicating technical requirements.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
