The Role

McCann Worldgroup Philippines, Inc., seeks an Account Manager to join our team here in Philippines. This person will be supporting a local brand that is a leader in its category and is creating breakthrough, award-winning marketing. The Account Manager will be essential to the continued success of creative communications that are highly strategic and impact the accounts future.

We need someone who can be a true partner to our client and cross-functional agency team and support the larger team in creating revolutionary creative work.

What You Will Do

The Account Manager for McCann Worldgroup Philippines, Inc., will be required to:

• Set priorities, organize workstreams, and assume a leadership role for assigned projects.
• Develop, maintain, and/or review weekly and monthly status reports and cultural and competitive audits.
• Support a highly strategically oriented account, working in upstream product development and marketing initiatives.
• Drive the brand forward in a highly competitive and fast-paced environment.
• Manage various elements of production across the traditional, digital, and/or social spaces.
• Become a subject matter expert in the clients business, immersing yourself in their history, competitive landscape, and objectives/goals moving forward.
• Develop strong relationships with clients across various disciplines and business areas throughout the organization, as well as with your agency counterpart
  
  

• Analyze critical data points to identify and quickly highlight key issues, problems, and opportunities.
• Know the clients business better than they do. Gain insight into the clients needs and propose potential solutions and opportunities.
• Be relentlessly curious to ensure your team is current on trends, media, competition, and business implications.
• Bring forth inspiring creative work to inform the team as we develop business solutions.
• Provide the team with an informed point of view, context, and business implications.
• Understand the meaning and implications of key financial indicators.
  
  

• 1-2 years of experience in advertising or related disciplines.
• Experience working in an extremely fast-paced business in a highly competitive and evolving industry.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to create great internal and client relationships.
• Proactive nature that lets you anticipate client and internal team needs, challenges, solutions.
• Very effective communication skills.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Part of a tight team – supporting and inspiring one another.
