The Account Coordinator is a key member of our Client Services team and plays a central role in driving client success. Builds strong client relationships, anticipates needs, and ensures work is delivered on time, on strategy, and within scope. They quarterback cross‑functional teams—partnering with specialists, practice leads, and internal stakeholders—to deliver high‑quality campaigns, reporting, and recommendations that achieve client goals. Account Coordinators support portfolio growth, oversee billing accuracy, and contribute to overall client satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building trust through proactive communication and reliability.
  • Anticipate client needs and provide solutions before they are requested.
  • Lead client calls and meetings, ensuring discussions are strategic, productive, and aligned with client objectives.
  • Collaborate with practice leads (paid media, SEO, creative, etc.) to develop integrated strategies and reporting presentations.
  • Present campaign results and strategic recommendations clearly, confidently, and consultatively.
  • Manage client projects and tasks in Asana, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Assign, coordinate, and review work from internal specialists and supporting team members.
  • Ensure all deliverables (reports, assets, campaigns) are high‑quality, accurate, and client‑ready.
  • Uphold accountability across internal teams to ensure work aligns with client goals and agency standards.
  • Conduct regular account checks in Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other paid media platforms, escalating issues or opportunities as needed.
  • Oversee monthly reporting, ensuring insights are gathered from specialists and Ninjacat reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Track and report on YoY growth within assigned portfolio, identifying retention and upsell opportunities.
  • Ensure all work is delivered within contracted scope and escalate scope expansion opportunities appropriately.
  • Support accurate billing, revenue tracking, and account financial health in partnership with internal operations teams.
  • Ensure clients receive responses to emails or Basecamp messages within 24 hours.
  • Communicate effectively across Slack, Asana, and email to keep projects moving forward.
  • Maintain clarity and consistency in internal and external communications, following agency SOPs and communication standards.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, client services, or digital marketing within an agency or similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager; additional platforms a plus).
  • Proven ability to lead client calls, present strategy, and manage cross‑functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong financial acumen, including billing, invoicing, and revenue tracking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
  • Commitment to collaboration, accountability, and contributing to a positive team culture
  • Digital Literacy: Navigates core platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Workspace, etc.) with ease. Troubleshoots basic issues and adapts quickly to new tools.
  • Client Relationship Management: Builds trust and rapport with clients through consistent communication, reliability, and a deep understanding of their goals.
  • Presentation Skills: Develops and delivers compelling presentations that engage audiences and communicate ideas clearly. Tailors messaging to client or internal stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Delivers polished, error‑free work by catching inconsistencies and ensuring accuracy across all deliverables. Maintains high standards even under pressure.
