What will you be doing most days?
Ensure prompt, friendly service
Provides employees, managers, and guests with a positive experience and atmosphere
Direct overall activities and performance of employees on a shift-by-shift basis
Drive positive guest experience through a front door and floor presence and accurate seating and quoting of wait times
Ensure positive guest experience by monitoring and ensuring appropriate Steps of Service.
Maintain the proper atmosphere through music and lighting levels for varying business periods
Promote an atmosphere of positive Guest Relations. Build Guest relationships and respond to Guest complaints or concerns professionally and in a timely manner
Maintain and inspect dining room, food receiving, preparation, production, and storage areas to ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times. Correct unsafe practices or conditions
Supervise cleaning and maintenance of equipment and arrange for repairs, contracts, and other service
Maintain restaurant cleanliness and organization for both the interior and exterior of the restaurant
Oversees FOH staffing, ensuring that adequate staffing is maintained, and that overtime is minimized. Ensures sales forecasting and schedules reflect desired productivity and match daily labor controls.
Assists in ordering of food and beverage items as well as controlling of cost and waste. Assists with scheduling staff
Ensures that all meal and rest breaks are provided when required.
Supervise cleaning and maintenance of equipment and arrange for repairs, contracts, and other services
What are the requirements for this position?
You have prior experience in a quality luxury hotel, restaurant, or bar brand
You proven achievements in optimizing guest and team member engagement
You have experience in successfully leading a fast-paced environment and prioritizing demands
You have the ability to plan and execute guest experiences
You have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
You have working knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, financials, and budgeting systems with a clear understanding of cost controls and driving topline revenue.
You are able to maintain a professional & appropriate business appearance
You demonstrate a passion for people with a strong network of contacts within the local events and restaurant/bar industry
Physical Requirements For This Position
You must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time as the job dictates.
Travel Requirements
This position will require little to no travel.
Pay Scale: $13.09 - $15.63/hour
