The Opportunity
The Director of Shared Services is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational excellence of Allegro’s Finance Shared Services function. This includes global management of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting, FP&A, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, Tax, and Treasury.
Serving as a key business partner to global stakeholders, the Director provides critical financial insights to drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. The role is centered on defining best practices, leveraging AI and automation technologies, and ensuring consistent policy adherence and compliance worldwide. Through extensive collaboration with IT, Procurement, and global Finance teams, the Director ensures the shared services function maintains financial integrity while supporting Allegro’s long-term strategic objectives.
What You Will Do
Strategic Partnership: Act as a key financial business partner to operational and departmental leaders, providing guidance for global strategic initiatives and margin optimization.
Automation & Digital Transformation: Define and execute a multi-year automation roadmap. Partner with IT to modernize legacy systems and implement AI-enabled analytics to reduce manual dependency and enhance data integrity.
Operational Excellence: Drive the standardization and automation of reconciliations, review processes, and journal entry workflows to improve the global financial close timeline.
Compliance & Internal Controls: Partner with Internal Audit to maintain robust control systems (SOX) and safeguard company assets. Coordinate internal and external audits (tax authorities, auditors) by providing comprehensive documentation.
KPI Management: Establish and implement performance dashboards to track key metrics such as rework rates, reconciliation completion, and journal entry volume.
Financial Integrity: Ensure the quality and accuracy of financial reports and schedules provided to both internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies.
Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and develop a high-performing team (including Controllers and Global AR/AP leads), building a strong pipeline of talent within the Philippines center.
Partnerships: Collaborates internally across multiple business functions and manages external relationships with External Auditors, Regulatory Bodies, Tax Authorities, Banks, and Financial Institutions.
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance is required. A Master’s degree (MBA) is a distinct advantage.
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
At least 12 years of relevant work experience in Finance Operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a Senior Manager capacity.
Deep experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and financial planning tools. Working knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance is essential.
Proven ability to lead large-scale strategic projects, system implementations, and process improvements in a global shared services environment.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and conflict-management skills, with a focus on change management and adopting new technologies.
Required training and competency across risk assessment, data privacy and IATF awareness, and Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct.
