What youll do:

As a Web Designer you are responsible to design high-quality business websites that balance visual polish with usability and performance. This role suits someone who is equally comfortable designing in Figma and bringing those designs to life in WordPress, with a strong portfolio to prove it.

You’ll work closely with clients and the broader Production team to translate business objectives into thoughtful, conversion-focused web experiences.

Key responsibilities for this role includes:

• Design modern, user-centred website layouts in Figma, from wireframes through to high-fidelity designs
• Collaborate with internal teams to align design decisions with marketing, UX, and performance goals
• Ensure websites follow best practice for responsiveness, accessibility, and usability
• Apply a strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, colour, and layout
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines with a high level of attention to detail
• Iterate designs based on feedback from stakeholders and clients
  
  
  

• Proven experience designing websites using Figma
• Hands-on experience building websites in WordPress
• A portfolio showcasing business or commercial websites
• Solid understanding of UX and UI principles
• Confidence working within brand guidelines while still elevating the final result
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS (enough to work effectively with WordPress builds)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain design decisions clearly
  
  
  

• Experience designing with conversion and performance in mind
• Familiarity with SEO-friendly design principles
• Experience collaborating with digital marketing or development teams
