About The Job
This role puts you at the heart of production quality and yield performance, where your work directly safeguards product reliability, customer satisfaction, and manufacturing efficiency. You will own outgoing quality for production parts, drive resolutions for yield excursions and anomalies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across assembly and test—from CP and BP to FT. Working closely with global manufacturing lines, suppliers, and customers, you will combine data‑driven analysis with hands‑on technical judgment to optimize yields, refine test limits, and reduce test time. It’s a high‑impact position for a quality‑focused semiconductor professional who thrives on responsibility, collaboration, and turning complex production challenges into measurable performance gains.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of production parts outgoing quality to ensure compliance to internal, external and customer specific requirements
- Dispositions for production anomalies or out of control scenarios
- Provide dispositions on low yield reports provided from manufacturing lines
- Communication with associated vendor
- Participation in root cause analysis efforts
- Monitoring of Product Assembly, CP, BP and FT Yields
- Oversee yield performance and define SBC/SBL limits
- Review test limits and execute 6-sigma limit review and adjustment
- Management of general yield improvement and test time reduction programs
- Continuous yield performance optimization and improvement for part in production
- Initiate improvement actions upon divergence
- Support suppliers on necessary device knowledge for efficient execution
- Prepare documentations and reports related to process/product qualifications, 2nd sourcing activities & device migration for production flexibility and quality
- Provide technical support and address customer inquiries related to product functionality, troubleshooting, or improvements.
- Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement to programs related issues
Key Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master’s degree within a relevant field
- At least three years of experience within semiconductor manufacturing, IC design, or product engineering
- Experience with JMP and Galaxy
- The ability to navigate in a global matrix organization
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
